總體而言， 【星際爭霸戰：浩瀚無垠】可說是新世代星艦中最好的一部星艦電影，比起前兩集讓JJ亞伯拉罕不斷的操弄懷舊元素，這一次的【浩瀚無垠】擁有更多的原創故事，他有很多的動作場面，但是劇情細膩，角色情感豐富可愛，同時又毫不違和的灌注了熱血元素，還不忘照顧老星艦迷。
